Beyoncé is using her voice for change. The pop superstar is among the headliners for the 2015 Global Citizen Festival.
The free-ticketed event will take place on the Great Lawn in Central Park in New York City on Saturday, Sept. 26. The festival coincides with the launch of the United Nations’ new Global Goals designed to fight inequality, protect the planet, and end extreme poverty by 2030.
Other headliners include Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran, and Coldplay.
The full concert, produced by Ken Ehrlich, will air live on msnbc and stream live on YouTube. A one-hour special will air on NBC on Sept. 27 and BBC One in the U.K. on Sept. 28.
Beyoncé has also partnered with Chime for Change and Global Citizen to fight poverty and create change for girls and women around the world.
Before she takes the stage, Queen Bey will headline the Made in America Festival on Sept. 5-6 in Philadelphia.
