Who said you couldn’t find love at the age of 53? Living Single’s, Kim Coles proved it to be possible, after posting wedding photos on a beach in the Dominican Republic with new husband Reggie McKiver on Instagram.



Coles wore a simple strapless tulle dress with mermaid hem from Della Curva. She accessorized it with a scarf (worn as a belt), a few bracelets, and earrings she’d had for years. Contrary to normal brides, Coles chose to wear a pair of ten dollar, silver glitter thong sandals from Target instead of a pair of Christian Louboutins.

They knew they were destined for each other when McKiver took her hand to read her energy and ended up holding it “a little big longer than he should have,” according to Coles. Fate or destiny, we are rooting for  the newlyweds.

 I’m 53 and Reggie is 41 but I’m not a cougar. I can’t run that fast. I’m a meerkat or a prairie dog. It’s about the right energy. It wasn’t like I was trolling for younger men. It’s about energy. We’re ageless. Just two people on the same plane.

He was assigned as her security detail and the pair hit if off after McKiver won Coles over with an intimate palm reading.

This is just the beginning, in August, they’re planning on a second, much bigger celebration. “It couldn’t be any better,” she said. “Now we’ll have bridesmaids and groomsmen. It’ll be a whole other thing. We got to have our own private thing and now we get to have the big extravaganza.”
