His sold-out shows at Montreal’s Bell Centre tonight and Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on Wednesday night have been affected as a result.
Breezy took to Twitter to share the disappointing news with his fans. “The good people of the Canadian government wouldn’t allow me entry. I’ll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!” he tweeted before deleting his tweets. “Unfortunately I will not be able to perform in front of sold out crowds in Montreal & Toronto.”
Live Nation told CBC News that the two Canadian shows had been canceled “due to immigration issues.”
His tourmate Trey Songz, who was already in Canada for the tour, expressed his frustration over the cancelation.
Trey Songz tweeting...Frustration. In Montreal with nothing to do. Bullshit...
Prior to the Canadian dates, the tour was delayed by two weeks after a judge revoked Chris’ probation due to unapproved travel and failure to complete his 1000 hours of community service on time.
In 2010, he was denied entry into the U.K. and was forced to pull the plug on his European tour.
The “Between the Sheets Tour” is currently scheduled to resume on Feb. 27 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill.
