SOLANGE PERFORMS ON ‘SNL’ & BIG SIS BEYONCE THERE FOR IT ALL

Live from New York, it’s Solange.

Hot off the release of her first No. 1 album A Seat at the Table, the R&B songstress made her debut on the late-night show. Following an introduction from host Benedict Cumberbatch, Solo performed her standout single “Cranes in the Sky,” which has already been remixed by Common, Styles P, and KAYTRANADA.

Dressed in a sparkly headpiece and crystal dress, she put on an angelic performance against an all-white backdrop. Backed by her band and three female dancers, Solange stunned with moves reminiscent of the music video, curtsying at the end.

Solange‘s appearance on Saturday Night Live turned into a family affair.

Both big sister Beyoncé and mom Tina Knowles-Lawson were on hand at Studio 8H for Solange’s debut on the sketch show, and they weren’t afraid to keep up some long-standing family traditions on the iconic stage.
