It's billed as the most glamorous night of the fashion calendar and last night's Met Ball, held at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art in New York, did not disappoint.

After last year's punk theme, old-school elegance once again was the order of the evening, as the museum celebrated the opening of its show dedicated to couturier Charles James, with a theme of 'White Tie and Decorations'.
