WILL SMITH SON..JADEN SMITH TO PLAY A CROSS DRESSING SLAVE

I know what you are thinking ...this won't be a stretch..or is that just us?  Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith's son Jaden will play a cross-dressing slave in his new film… 

According to reports Jaden Smith has signed on to star in 'The Good Lord Bird' as cross dressing slave Henry 'Onion' Shackelford.

The film, adapted from the best-selling book, follows Onion, who is mistaken for a girl, as he joins famous abolitionist John Brown for the raid on Harper's Ferry that sparked the Civil War.

This all sounds very unlike a member of the Smith family, but the movie is an adaptation of the critically-acclaimed book by James McBride. So despite Smith playing a cross-dressing slave, it sounds like The Good Lord Bird is going to have real gravitas to it. 

Fans of Smith’s more family friendly roles will take solace that he will also return for a Karate Kid sequel as well.
