BRUNO MARS PERFORMING AT THE SUPER BOWL

If you are not going to ask Beyonce back which we rather, we will take Bruno Mars. The 14-time Grammy Award nominee and winner will perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on Feb. 2, 2014, the NFL announced Sunday.

Most recently, Mars (real name Peter Gene Hernandez), 27, performed at the MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Last year, over 110.5 million viewers in the United States watched BeyoncĂ©'s unforgettable halftime show, which featured a Destiny's Child reunion with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Following the performance, Rowland, 32, gushed that she was overcome with emotion.
"When I looked on the other side of the stage at Super Bowl and I saw Beyoncé and Michelle, my heart just went into my throat, I was so happy," she explained. "It was just such a beautiful moment."
