In the computer-animated clip, directed by Nick Knight, a shirtless Kanye runs across the screen. The rough video originated from a Universal Music Group development page that has since been password protected.
“The BLKKK SKKKN HD video that leaked yesterday was not the official version,” tweeted ‘Ye of the Yeezus cut. “Me and Nick Knight have been working on this video for 5 months and for creatives it’s heartbreaking when something like this happens.”He plans to release the official version next week. “The final version will be ready within the next week,” he said.
In the meantime, he asks websites to remove the leaked version. “So any website that may have the unapproved / unfinished ruff. I ask you to please take it down,” he said. “Allow me and Nick to give the world what we’ve been losing sleep over.”
He also had some strong words for the person who leaked it. “And to who ever leaked the video… FUK YOU!”
