BET'S SITCOM STARRING KEVIN HART REAL HOLLYWOOD HUSBAND SET RECORDS & WATCH FULL EPISODE

What started out as a gag on the BET Awards has now turned into a full-fledged “scripted reality series.”

The Real Husbands of Hollywood premiered last night on BET. The scripted series was created by comedian Kevin Hart, and is based loosely on the Real Housewives series. Hart created the series due to popular demand after his online video featuring actors Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, J.B. Smoove, Nick Cannon and Robin Thicke went viral. Other celebrities making cameo appearances on the scripted show include: Jay Leno, Ed O’Neill, Shaquille O’Neal, Nelly, Faizon Love, Common and Trey Songz.

"Real Husbands" was cable's No. 1 program of the night in both demos and total viewers and led all of television for the 10 o'clock half-hour in 18-49 -- ahead of dramas "Parenthood" on NBC (1.9 rating/5 share), "Vegas" on CBS (1.6/4) and "Private Practice" on ABC (1.2/3).


Following "Real Husbands" on BET, the debut of "Second Generation Wayans" averaged a 1.7/5 in 18-49 and 3.35 million viewers overall. It also led all of television for its 10:30 p.m. timeslot in adults 18-34 (1.8/6).
