After three seasons of her previous reality show BET's "The Way It Is" back in 2006 Keisha Cole is back and doing reality in a different way. Wanting to focus on her music career without TV cameras in tow. Musically, she had a good run, her first three albums all going platinum, generating 10 top 10 singles on the R&B chart.
But her 2010 album, “Calling All Hearts,” generated no hits. She has since gotten married and had a son. Her profile has dimmed.
So Cole is returning to the reality show well with a BET program featuring her husband, NBA player Daniel Gibson called “Family First.” Deadline.com broke the story but provided no time frame when the six-episode series will debut.
the working title of a six-part series that will focus on Keyshia’s roles as a singer, wife and a mother. Set to debut in the fall, Cole will share executive producer credits with NBA star husband Daniel Gibson and others. No word on if her crazy mama and sister will be on the show.
Keyshia Cole, who is planning to perform at the Essence Music Festival this coming July in New Orleans. Sources report Keyshia recently spent much needed quality time in West Hollywood chasing after little Daniel Jr, while her husband nursed his recently repaired ankle from the comforts of a wheelchair.
The Cleveland Cavaliers guard had a successful surgery to repair a torn tendon in his left foot and ankle earlier this month.
