DETAILS WHITNEY HOUSTON FUNEREAL WILL BE TELEVISED SATURDAY: ARETHA FRANKLIN, ALICIA KEYS, STEVIE WONDER, TYLER PERRY & MORE

As family finalize the funereal details of putting one of music "Greatest Loves Of All " Nippy as her family affectionately calls her to rest we have all the details of the service.  Today they will have a private viewing of the body at the funereal with the family only. 
Whitney Houston will be put to rest in Newark NJ on Saturday afternoon, in a private invitation-only funeral service. 


Flags will fly half -staff  to honor the New Jersey native in spite of the criticism by locals that Houston does not deserve this honor due to her drug problems over the years.  
The family have also declined to host a public wake for the singer and have told fans to stay away from the church. Instead, Houston’s family has opted to allow one camera into the service, and police will block off streets  in a six block radius around the church to insure fans and onlookers will not have access.
Whitney Houston’s funeral will broadcast via MSNBC, CNN, and other stations as well as streamed online, livestream.com/aplive . 


Aretha Franklin will sing a song as requested by Houston mom Cicely Houston no word yet on what that song will be. Kevin Costner, who co-starred with Whitney Houston in "The Bodyguard," will speak at the ceremony, he also hand picked Whitney for that now iconic role.

Marvin Winans, Gospel singer, pastor and close friend of Houston's, will give the eulogy. Marvin Winans also married Houston and her ex-husband Bobby Brown in 1992.

Other guest list reportedly includes Tyler Perry Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder who will also sing,  R&B singers Brandy and Darlene Love, Ray J. Bobby Brown.


Grammy winners Chaka Khan and CeCe Winans, Dionne Warwick who is also Houston cousin and record producer Antionio "L.A." Reid, Clive Davis will also speak, R. Kelly, and many, more.
The service, which will be held at 12 noon New Hope Baptist Church which is Whitney's childhood church. where she sang  in the choir as a teenager. 


Expected to be attended by 1,500 people, Whitney final burial resting place will be at a nearby cemetery where her late father John Russell was laid to rest in 2003.
