RIHANNA BEST SELLING DIGITAL DOWNLOADS ARTIST OF ALL TIME

"Oh Na Na What's My Name"? Only six years in the business and she's already the best selling download artist Wow! Since her debut album Music of the Sun was released in 2005, Rihanna has moved a total of 47.5 million digital tracks. In 2011 alone, the You Da One singer sold 13.9 million digital copies. 


Regardless of how well her songs perform on iTunes and other download websites, Rihanna’s fans are generally not interested in buying her actual CD's.



Her top-selling disc, Good Girl Gone Bad, which included the mega-hit Umbrella, has sold only 2.7 million copies in the US to date. Meantime, none of her other albums has surpassed the two million mark.

Her sixth and latest studio effort, Talk that Talk was released on November 21, 2011. 
The album premièred at number three on the US Billboard 200, but has only recently been certified gold, meaning it has sold 500,000 copies.











But the singer says she wants more, particularly more respect from her peers.
'It’s more about the music, I don’t want to become a gimmick - ever. Well, I ran out of [hair] colors, so that’s why I decided to go back to my natural color,' Rihanna said in an interview with U.S. magazine Vibe Vixen. 
'I’m just really having fun with the music and the style is a lot more accessible. It’s more lifestyle, it’s not so much a look or a costume, which I really enjoy.'
If if this isn't enough her record label ran by Jigga Man gave the girl who probably needs nothing a "Black Jeep Wrangler" as a gift of her accomplishments.

Ri Ri tweeted:  “Foot out dat bitch, ride dat shit like a skateboard!!! Thank u to my G’z at RocNation baby!” tweeted the pop star, quoting lyrics from Jay-Z’s “On To The NextOne.”
