Rapper T.I. Talks Down A Suicide Jumper In ATL

T.I. may be in trouble with the law following his recent arrest, but that didn’t stop him from helping the cops talk a suicide jumper from a ledge.

It all went down yesterday afternoon shortly before 4pm — when cops responded to a 911 call about a man who was threatening to jump off a building in downtown Atlanta … the same building where Atlanta's Ryan Cameron’s Radio Show on V103 is based.  I happen to be listening to the same time and this is how it all played out.

T.I. heard about the jumper on the radio — and called Ryan Cameron to see if there was anything he could do to help out with the situation.  Ryan Cameron has told sources … he told T.I. to roll over to the building, where the rapper met with police and recorded a heartfelt video message which cops then played for the man on the roof.

Sources are saying after recieving a phone call and hearing some devastating news, he decided he wanted to end it all and went up on the Roof.  Once the 22 year old man only none as Joshua saw T.I.’s video he agreed to step off the ledge … and met T.I. in the lobby, where the two were able to talk things out.

The man, whose name was not released, was then transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment, Polite said. He will not face charges, Polite said.
