Fans Pour Out for Drake’s Release Day

As Drake vast in his success, he hit up NYC for the release of his new album "Thank Drake Me Later"  in store at Bestbuy.  Lines wrapped around the block as eager fans, some crying, waited to meet their idol on his long-awaited album release day. The Drakeover was suppose to continue with A free concert featuring  Drake but was shut down by New York City on Tuesday after crowds became too much for Big Apple authorities to handle.

“It’s cancelled. Riot police shut it down. It was just too many people. Over 15,000 people and it was just too unmanageable,” said a spywitness

Drake has a lot to be thankful for, with all the records and hype behind his name without ever dropping an album until now.  Drake will celebrate what he’s calling “The Best Summer He’s Ever Had” by premiering an one-hour MTV documentary, Drake: Better Than Good Enough, on Music Television Wednesday, June 23 at 10pm ET/PT.
