DISNEY WANTS BEYONCE TO PLAY AIDA..

A starring role in "Aida" could be Beyoncé's big follow-up to "Dreamgirls." According to Jim Hill Media, Walt Disney is chatting it up with the hot starlet to make a movie adaptation of Giuseppe Verdi's Italian-language opera. Beyoncé would follow in the footsteps of Heather Headley, who picked up a Tony Award for her stint as Aida in 2000, Toni Braxton and fellow Destiny's Child member, Michelle Williams. "The Mouse is reportedly already in talks with this pop diva, trying to convince Ms. Knowles to make 'Aida' her follow-up project to 'Dreamgirls,'" says the site, adding, "Starring in the movie version of this Tony Award-winning musical should be a no-brainer for Beyoncé. Aida tells the story of a Nubian princess captured by an Egyptian captain, Radames. He soon falls in love with her and saves her from a life of hard labor and instead gives her as a handmaiden to the Egyptian princess Amneris, his bride. ****************************************************************************** HOUSE OF GLITZ: BEYONCE DOES NOT STOP THE OPPORTUNITIES CONITINUE TO COME FOR HER I HOPE SHE TAKES THE ROLE....
