NEYO "WACKO JACKO NEEDS TO FIND HIS PLACE AGAIN"

After being summoned by producer Will.i.am to write on popstar Michael Jackson’s new album, Ne-Yo is excited but admits there is no way his work will surpass the star's classic Thriller album. Ne-Yo, who has worked with pop's biggest names including Britney Spears, Beyonce, Celine Dion and Whitney Houston, knows he has his work cut out for him as he attempts to oversee Jackson's comeback - but insists there is no point trying to compete with the legendary 1982 record. He says, "I'm not trying to top Thriller. Anybody trying to top something that's already been done is fighting a losing battle. It was a different industry back then, a different way of thinking and people were easier to impress. Everything in music has been done now, so Michael needs to find his place again."
