MOS DEF--MOST WANTED..!!
Vegas police are on the lookout for rapper Mos Def over an alleged attack of a fashion event photographer in August. Def -- real name Dante Terrell Smith -- faces charges of felony robbery and malicious destruction of private property and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.Volker Corell -- an official photog for the Men's Apparel and Garment Industry Convention (MAGIC) in Las Vegas -- claims Def flipped out on him while he was taking photos of attendees at the event. Mos allegedly ripped Volker's camera off his neck, smashed it to the ground and then took off with the busted equipment. Corell claims to have suffered a cut on his left hand during the alleged attack.Def has a history of hating paparazzi, but Corell was a credentialed snapper for the event ... and get this: He says he didn't even know who Mos was until after the alleged attack.

Barack’s family went off in Africa once it was announced that their blood was elected the president of America:
KOGELO, Kenya – Barack Obama’s Kenyan relatives and Africans across the continent sang, danced in the streets and wrapped themselves in U.S. flags Wednesday to cheer for America’s first black president. Kenya will party for two days, after the president declared a national holiday. Scenes of jubilation broke out in the western village of Kogelo, where Obama’s late father was born. A group of exuberant residents picked up the president-elect’s half-brother Malik and carried him through the village. “Unbelievable!” Malik shouted, leading the family in chanting, “Obama’s coming, make way!” Obama’s step-grandmother and other relatives also poured out of the family homestead to salute a man seen by many Kenyans as a “son of the soil.”
Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki declared a public holiday on Thursday in honor of Obama. Many stayed up all night or woke before dawn to celebrate his victory.
Obama’s relatives and other villagers gathered around a TV set up in a garden in Kogelo, rejoicing and pumping their arms in the air. Across Africa, many are hoping an Obama presidency will help the vast continent, the poorest in the world. Obama’s victory was also likely to seal America’s reputation in the minds of many Africans as a land of staggering opportunity.
“He’s in!” said Rachel Ndimu, 23, a Kenyan business student who joined hundreds of others for an election party at the residence of the U.S. ambassador to Kenya, Michael Ranneberger, which began at 5 a.m. “I think this is awesome, and the whole world is backing him,” Ndimu said as people raised glasses of champagne.
The jubilation is certainly called for. This is election marks the beginning of the end of limitations for people of color worldwide. The African’s have every right to celebrate the victory of their Son of The Soil. And we enjoy watching them work them twerk that.

Obama Race Toward Finish Line..Oprah expected to be at his rally!!!
As the clock struck midnight Tuesday – signaling the start of Election Day – both John McCain and Barack Obama couldn't help feeling sentimental.
Obama marked the occasion with a solemn stroll through his campaign plane before it carried him home to Chicago. The Democratic hopeful shook the hand of each of the five dozen journalists aboard, some of whom had traveled with him for all 21 months of his long campaign. (One photographer, who was celebrating her birthday, even got a kiss!)
And when one in the entourage said, "Good luck," Obama simply shook his head. "It'll be fun," he replied, "fun to see how the story ends.
Everyone and their mutha wants to be part of the Barack Obama rally tonight –- including Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Diddy, and Ben Affleck.
But Obama wants this night to be all about him –- as it should –- so he's asking his celeb backers to stay away, reports the Chicago Sun-Times. "There really only needs to be one star in Grant Park," says a source, "and that's Barack." They want the celebs to focus on the inauguration in January –- if that's tonight's outcome, of course.
Naturally, Oprah Winfrey will be there tonight. Not even Obama tells O to go away.

Obama's Grandmother Passes Away..!!!
Madelyn Dunham, Barack Obama's grandmother, has passed away after a bout with cancer. Madelyn Dunham, whose death was announced Monday on the eve of the U.S. presidential election, was the rock on which the Democrat built his life and his stunning political career.Dunham, who died aged 86 in Obama's native Hawaii, had been in fragile health, suffering from osteoporosis and cancer. Her health had further deteriorated after she recently broke her hip.
Sensing her life was ebbing away, the Democratic nominee took the highly unusual step of leaving the White House trail to race to her bedside for a few hours in late October.
“She was the cornerstone of our family and a woman of extraordinary accomplishment, strength and humility,” read a statement from Obama and his half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng. “Our debt to her is beyond measure.”

Jennifer Hudson family to be buried yesterday. A week after they were found shot to death, three members of singer Jennifer Hudson’s family will be buried in Chicago. Funeral services for Hudson’s mom Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and nephew Julian King will be held today. No one has been charged in the killings, but a man who was once close to the family remains in custody. William Balfour, estranged husband to the singer’s sister, is being held on a parole violation and is believed to have information about the deaths. Meanwhile, police reportedly are investigating whether the murder weapon may have once belonged to Jason Hudson. Police say his gun was stolen from the house a few months ago and could be a match for the gun used in the killings.
Oprah Winfrey, Missy Elliott, Patti LaBelle, Clive Davis, and Queen Latifah were among the hundreds of mourners who filled the Apostolic Church of God for the ceremony to celebrate the lives of Jennifer’s mother Darnell Donerson, her brother Jason, and her 7-year-old nephew, Julian King.
Fellow “American Idol” alum Fantasia Barrino performed “Your Grace and Mercy” at the open casket funeral service, while the Reverend Jesse Jackson and Chicago Mayor Richard Daley both spoke. Fantasia called the Hudsons “my family” and walked off the stage where she took her friend’s hand and sang directly to her.
After a procession of three hearses and a horse-drawn trolley carrying her nephew’s coffin, Jennifer entered the church with her fiancé, David Ortunga. As the two-hour wake came to an end, Jennifer approached her family members’ coffins and spent a few moments with each. She leaned down to kiss her mother goodbye at one point.
The Oscar-winner has reportedly been staying at Oprah’s East Lake Shore Drive condo in Chicago during this difficult time.
