A Skinny Miss Jackson if you nasty was honored, On the eve of New York Fashion Week, Janet Jackson stepped out to the amfAR New York Gala at Cipriani Wall Street.
The pop icon, along with Heidi Klum and Kenneth Cole, was honored for her contributions to the fight against AIDS. She skipped the red carpet and headed straight inside to receive her award, looking stunning in a black dress.

Other guests included John Legend and his fiancée Chrissy Teigen, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Harry Belafonte. The black-tie gala closed out with a performance from CeeLo Green.

Janet, who is an ambassador for amfAR, also stars in a PSA for World AIDS Day, encouraging people to get tested and treated for HIV. “Let’s end AIDS together,” she says.

VIDEO: TONY BRAXTON ON GMA AND HINTS SHE'S READY TO RETIRE & NEW SEASON OF THE BRAXTON'S

Is it time for Toni Braxton to just stick too reality TV?  Or get ready for a career singing at casinos and cruise ships? Let's be clear, her ship has passed...no pun intended and Tamar Braxton has picked up that sail.  According to a recent interview she did with ‘Good Morning America’ while promoting her new Lifetime movie ‘Twist of Faith,’ the answer is yes.
According to Toni, that certain spark is missing and though she doesn’t go into detail, Toni says she is “angry” at the music industry.
No doubt Toni’s anger stems from the fact that R&B music is slowly becoming relic. If you look at the state of urban radio you will notice a lack of females, a lack of groups- male and female and a lack of bands (people who actually play instruments).

Every facet of R&B has slowly been replaced with Hip-Hop, a form of music that requires neither singing, nor the ability to play an instrument.
When asked if she planned to retire, Toni didn’t really have an answer. However, I think it’s safe to say that fans may not be getting that album she promised last year when she released her summer single ‘I Heart You.

PICS THE HEART TRUTH RED DRESS COLLECTION 2013

Toni Braxton always sizzles, but the beautiful singer looked especially radiant in a body-hugging halter gown with a plunging neckline by designer Herve L. Leroux.  The annual all-star runway extravaganza promotes heart health awareness among women.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner helped kick off the start of New York Fashion Week by taking a trip down the catwalk at The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Fashion Show. Donning red-hot column gowns by Badgley Mischka.
Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner squeezed her curves into a skin-tight wrap dress by Badgley Mischka before taking her turn down the runway.
"Fashion Police" star Kelly Osbourne showed off her svelte figure in a flattering Zac Posen gown with a sweetheart neckline.
Actress Minka Kelly, who put her best foot forward in a Grecian-inspired, belted crimson gown by legendary designer Oscar de la Renta.
Gabby Douglas always has gold medal-winning style, so it only makes sense that she was invited to walk in this year's Red Dress Collection Fashion Show. The 17-year-old wore a gown by designer Pamella Roland. And below the star shares a pic with designer Pamela Rowland.
And that's a wrap! The star-studded finale of The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Fashion Show had audiences seeing red as the celebrities-turned-models came out for one more group shot.

MOVING ON? ZOE SALDANA STEPS OUT WITH NEW MAN...BUT HE'S NO BRADLEY COOPER!

Moving on but not in a good way from what we can tell.  Cheeky Zoe, 34, teased by wearing a pair of jeans and a high cut jumper that showed off her tremendously taut midriff.
The bespectacled Star Trek favourite managed to look out of this world despite the3 fact she was wearing a relatively casual ensemble.

Her companion, who looked more of a friend than a lover, was also dressed down in a Trivial Persuit T-shirt, jeans and a tracksuit jacket.
Zoe broke up with 38-year-old Oscar nominee Bradley shortly before the Christmas holidays following a short reconciliation in September, which itself came after a six-month split.

Her good friend Gabrielle Union recently insisted she is doing 'great' and is over the breakup.
The best friends rang in the New Year together after Zoe ditched her holiday plans with Bradley and Gabrielle revealed they had a great time.
She said: ''Our girl time is usually spent singing, drinking and dancing, and that's exactly what we did [on New Year's Eve].''
We know she must miss the good old days, you know those happy days:  when the A-list couple reunited last September but split again just before Christmas.

WHITNEY HOUSTON NEW WAX FIGURES REVEALED

The many diva looks of Whitney Houston will live forever, well kinda. Whitney Houston's music will live on forever – and now, she'll be immortalized in another medium as well.

Madame Tussauds is remembering the legendary singer who died last year with not one, but four separate wax figures.

"We were extremely honored when Madame Tussauds approached us about doing four figures of Whitney from different points in her 30-year career," Houston's manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston said in a statement on behalf of the family. "This is something we are excited to do for the fans."
The unveiling marks the first time in 200 years that the museum has simultaneously created so many different figures of the same subject. While each took shape at the Tussauds studio in London, they will be displayed in separate cities.
Houston performing the national anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl is going to Washington, D.C.'s Tussauds; Hollywood will get her in her 1992 movie The Bodyguard; Las Vegas will display the young Houston as seen in her 1988 video for "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)"; and New York will exhibit a more recent likeness of the singer, from a 2009 photo shoot for her final studio album.

Houston's wax figures will be unveiled in New York on Thursday, nearly a year after her passing.

VIDEO: RIHANNA IS A RIDE OR DIE CHICK..SHOWS UP TO COURT WITH CHRIS BROWN

If you ever wondered what a "ride or die chick" term means, Rihanna just showed you the best example, this is what we call a new FOOL. Rihanna is standing by her man. The “Diamonds” singer was by Chris Brown’s side as he faced a judge in Los Angeles for his probation progress report hearing.

The couple was seen leaving Chris’ house together and making their way to the courthouse on Wednesday. According to TMZ, Rihanna blew Chris a kiss and said some encouraging words to him before he entered the courtroom.
Rihanna, along with Chris’ mother Joyce Hawkins, took a seat in the gallery behind Chris and his lawyers. Less than 10 minutes later, they were seen leaving the courtroom arm in arm. An eyewitness described Chris as looking “dejected,” but Rihanna tried to cheer him up.

The judge ordered Brown to meet with his probation officer in Los Angeles within 48 hours to address allegations that he falsified his community service.
The judge requires more time to review the evidence presented by the D.A. and plans to speak with Chris’ probation officer. The next hearing will be held on April 5.

It has been four years since Brown assaulted Rihanna following a party on the eve of the Grammy Awards. He plead guilty and was sentenced to five years probation and community service.

NAOMI CAMPBELL VISITS JIMMY CAMPBELL CHATS ABOUT NEW SHOW "THE FACE"

Naomi Campbell visits “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” at Rockefeller Center in New York City! She looks great, could double for Kelly Rowland, no? Naomi stopped by debuting her new fresh weave and to discuss her new show on the Oxygen network"The Face".   When you think of role models for impressionable young women, Naomi Campbell isn’t the first person that comes to mind.

But in the television world, all sins are forgiven. Reinvention is a given. And few women in the world have been as qualified perhaps to mentor a model, than one of the world’s great supermodels.

And we have to spotlight this cute ensemble wearing Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 collection, Naomi wore a black-and-white dress with velvet panels, laser-cut detailing on the skirt, a white collar, white pleated cuffs, and a white skirt underlay. The supermodel styled her look with Alaïa ankle boots.
“People do not know me,” Campbell said on Monday to promote her new reality talent show, The Face. “I think there will be many things people will get, sides of me that they’ve never seen before.”

On The Face, which kicks off with a Feb. 5 special on MuchMusic, Campbell acts as both a mentor and executive producer. The format is loosely based on the popular The Voice series, where celebrities act as mentors to talent. In this case she is joined by Victoria’s Secret model Karolina Kurkova and Canadian model Coco Rocha.
“We’re not just looking for a pretty face. It’s a well-rounded individual who will become a brand ambassador,” says Eden Gaha, an executive producer of the show.
Differentiating The Face from other shows comes down to the mentoring, says Campbell.“I’m not a judge. The clients are the ones who decide, the brands decide who will fit the criteria of what they’re looking for,” she says. “But I’m very honest and very tough with my girls. I won’t be there to hold their hands in the real world.”
The supermodel is perhaps best known for a habit of berating maids and throwing phones at underlings. And there is that issue of hanging out in the questionable company of former Liberian president Charles Taylor and allegedly getting blood diamonds as gifts and dating a millionaire who is still married.

VIDEO: EVE TALKS NEW ALBUM NICKI MINAJ & MORE ON THE BREAKFAST CLUB

As she makes her slow comeback, Eve stopped by “The Breakfast Club” on Power 105.1 and faced all sorts of questions from Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God, and DJ Envy. The Philly raptress, who is dating British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper, dished on her love life and her first album in over 10 years, Lip Lock, due May 14.
“I feel like a new artist,” said Eve, who reflected on how the game has changed since she released her last album Eve-Olution in 2002.
She also shared her thoughts on Nicki Minaj and spoke about a proposed collaboration with Azealia Banks.
While Eve claims that Azealia turned down the offer to collaborate, Azealia tells a different story. “Def never even received a memo about collaborating ! Def never turned you down,” tweeted the “212″ hitmaker. “Missed opportunities.”
E-V-E didn’t have any hard feelings, tweeting back, “Def down to do a hot record.”
